February Flowers

Now that that the month of February has ended, I would like to share with you some of the beautiful flowers I have seen. At home, the temperatures dropped to the sub-zeros and the snow was abundant. I miss it.

Here in Limerick, it has been anywhere between 0°C to 10°C or 30°F to 50°F. There is no snow, but we have had wind, rain, and small little ice crystals falling from the sky that pelted my face as I walked to class. It looked pretty.

On to the flowers. There have been lots of cheerful yellow flowers saying hello as I walk to my classes. Pictured below are a collection of some of the flowers I have seen. Comment if you know the names of any.

  1. 4 thru 6 daisies of some type. Look a little like “fleabane.” Hard to tell.
7 is a dandelion (symbolic for spreading the Gospel).
    8 hyacinth
    9 daffodil
    10 lichen on the trees
    11 patch of daffodils

    Nice post, Katie.
